Project 2 Critique – Texture
2. What role does texture have in the composition? (Detail, pattern, space, and/or design). Be specific, if texture missing or weak include that also.
There is a lot of texture in the composition. The purple background adds a simpler texture that combines both of the water textures in the composition. There is strong texture in the rocks and the greenery. All of the textures are rough. Even the purple background looks rough but not doesn’t seem as rough as the rocks on either left or right side.

Project 2 – Question 4
I can see the “green-ness” in the composition by his choice images. Both images are very natural and green. As far as the song goes, the only part of the image I can associate it with are the lyrics “this is our fate.” I think color was used well and the background image gives some texture to the composition.

Project Critique – Value
How is value used un the composition?(Creates 3D, use of light and dark, mood, contrast). Be specific, if value is missing or weak include that also.
=Good light and dark from the right side to the elft side. Though you should’ve made the faucet on the right to appear more brighter as opposed to the one on the left. The water droplets have a good 3D feel to it, but otehr than that, it all appears to be flat. You could’ve added a Drop Shadow or Beveled the Text to make it stabd out more… It just kind of feels of hnaging in there.
